Laura

Laura was born in Norway, Maine (population 5,077), and lived there until moving to the Valley in 2021. Imagine that culture shock! Laura had never seen a cactus in real life until moving here . In Maine she worked for a general practice animal hospital for five years, and also was a relief technician at an emergency hospital for two years. Laura and her boyfriend live with their three cats Weasley, Petunia & Violet, and she can usually be found loving on every kitty that comes to Applewood. When asked what she likes best about working at Applewood she said “My coworkers are the best”, but we think she loves the kitty patients even more!
