Melissa (Mel)

Although Mel has been at Applewood since 2018, she has been in the veterinary field since 2010, and a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2013. In other words, she knows what she's doing! Mel has an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and a BA in Religious Studies with a minor in Psychology from U of A, and has lived in Arizona her whole life. Married with three children, Mel has a special passion for hounds: Jezzabelle, a Bloodhound/Black and Tan Coonhound mix shares the family home. What Mel loves best about Applewood is her co-workers AND the fact that we have the very best clients!
